Dorothy introduces Oz to Christmas and of course Oz adds a few traditions of it's own. Santa comes to deliver holiday cheer and presents to all. The Wicked Witch has kidnapped Santa in an attempt to steal his magic.

It's time for the Oz Kids' annual Christmas party, and everyone's invited — except for Otto the Nome Prince, that is. Otto is so upset that he steals Andrea's invitation. And Andrea (who inherited her mother Glinda's magic) believes she wasn't invited and joins forces with Otto to get even.

Children's author Dorothy Gale makes a decent living continuing her grandfather's series of Oz books. When a new agent enters the scene, Dorothy moves to New York city. Dorothy Banks was an effervescent and somewhat liberated former Broadway showgirl who took a job teaching music and drama at the Hannah Huntley School for Girls, a somewhat old-fashioned institution in Connecticut. While some of the faculty (like French teacher Miss Cathcart and biology instructor Mr. Landis) found Dorothy's methods a bit off-putting, her students, including Meredith, Frankie, Margo and Cissy, thought she was wonderful.
